Rock University is a Draper music studio that teaches guitar, piano, drums, voice, bass, and more to students from age four to adult. Every year they put on Rock U Live, a concert where those students take the stage. Their promise to families is right there in the tagline: this is where students become rock stars.
To keep that promise, the show cannot feel like a school recital. It has to look and sound like a real concert, the kind of production a touring act would get, so a nervous beginner steps into genuine stage lights, a tuned PA, and a full LED backdrop.

Rock U Live starts in an empty room. We load in the full rig, stage, PA, LED, and lighting, tune it, then run a live show packed with student performers back to back. One team owns both halves, which is why it holds together.

A recital has a handful of numbers. Rock U Live is a full night of them, solo singers, duos, and full bands, each with a different setup, a different mix, and a different lighting look. The changeovers never stop, and there is no room to let one set feel smaller than the last, because for that student and their family it is the biggest stage they have ever been on.
