Farmington packs a lot of event activity into a small city. Lagoon has been here since 1886, Station Park sits right beside a FrontRunner stop, and Davis County's Western Sports Park runs tournaments and trade shows on a 55-acre campus.

On December 1, 2011, gusts of 102 mph were recorded near Centerville, and trucks overturned on I-15 between Centerville and Farmington. Outdoor stages, truss and tents here need proper ballast and a wind plan.
Farmington Festival Days ran July 6 to 11 in 2026, centered on Forbush Park with a parade, a main stage, a headliner concert by The Spazmatics and fireworks.

Yes. The city issues special use permits for amplified sound at $27 per hour, $100 for a band with amplified sound, and $80 when more than 300 people attend.
