South Jordan has two event centers of gravity: the civic calendar built around South Jordan City Park, and Daybreak, the 4,200-acre master-planned community that covers the west half of the city. Since 2025, Downtown Daybreak has added a Triple-A ballpark to a district that already had a covered concert stage.
True AV knows this ground well. We ran live sound and lighting for the LiveDAYBREAK Summer Concert Series from 2015 to 2025, more than 100 shows. For your event, we send an itemized proposal, usually the same day, and assign a named lead who runs the show.

Kennecott Land started Daybreak in 2004. In 2025 the Larry H. Miller Group opened Downtown Daybreak around the new Salt Lake Bees ballpark, which hosted its first game on April 8, 2025.
LiveDAYBREAK puts on free weekend concerts from late May to mid-September, 8 to 10 PM, on the Rio Tinto Kennecott Stage at America First Square. A second stage now runs at the Cove House on Oquirrh Lake.
LiveDAYBREAK cancelled its June 27, 2026 Cove House show because of high winds and dangerous weather. Outdoor events here need ballast, a weather hold plan and a set call time for cancelling.
The city's biggest event fills South Jordan City Park with a parade, carnival, free concerts, a vendor market and a 5K, with fireworks at North City Park. The 2026 edition ran June 2 to 6.
Elevation climbs from about 4,300 ft at the Jordan River to 5,200 ft in the Oquirrh foothills. The city also holds 67-acre Oquirrh Lake, 37 public parks, three TRAX stops and a FrontRunner stop.
