West Jordan is Utah's third-largest city, with 116,961 people in 2020, and most of its event life clusters in one civic area: City Hall, the county's Viridian Event Center, Veterans Memorial Park and the rodeo arena that anchors the Western Stampede every July.
We produce West Jordan events from our shop a few miles south in Bluffdale. True AV scales from a Viridian breakout to an outdoor stage with generator power, and we read the city's facility rules before we quote, so the permit, electrician and sound requirements show up in the plan, not on show day.

Every July 2 to 4 the city runs PRCA rodeo nights at the West Jordan Arena, a carnival at Veterans Memorial Park, a parade on Redwood Road, a drone show and Fourth of July fireworks. Rodeo tickets double as UTA fare.
Amateur rodeos started here in 1950, and there has been a rodeo nearly every year since 1959. By 1960 the park had arena seating for 4,000 and hosted nationally televised boxing.
Gardner Village grew from Archibald Gardner's 1850s flour mill into a district of shops, restaurants and banquet rooms. It fills up for WitchFest in the fall and Christmas in the Village, so holiday party space goes fast.
The TRAX Red Line has six stations in West Jordan, and the Viridian Event Center is walking distance from West Jordan City Center station. South Valley Regional Airport, a general aviation field, sits beside the Jordan Landing shopping district.
Under West Jordan's facility use policy, organizers can be made to pay for traffic control, monitors for amplified sound and onsite certified electricians. Special event and arena applications are due six weeks ahead.

Dedicated event coordinators and an in-house chef run 8,000 square feet of space, with a Grand Ballroom that seats 250 at rounds or 400+ theater style and a long record of company and holiday parties.

With rooms A, B and C combined, 700 theater style using the built-in tiered seating, 450 at banquet tables or 800 for a standing reception. The outdoor amphitheater adds up to 800 on the grass and cement.
It rents basic gear: a projector and screen, microphones at no charge, stage lights, color wash lights, risers and pipe and drape. For a band, a produced awards show or LED video, we bring a full system and load through the dock.
Only for qualifying private events, and all alcohol service and permits must go through a caterer on the Viridian's approved list.
