Summit County is the resort and luxury side of the Wasatch Back. Park City gets most of the attention, but the county also covers Coalville, Kamas, Oakley and Francis, plus the unincorporated Snyderville Basin where Kimball Junction, Canyons Village and Utah Olympic Park sit.

Deer Valley and Park City Mountain drive most of the county's corporate and wedding business, and both run their own group sales teams. The 2015 merger of Park City and Canyons created the largest ski area in the U.S.
The Ledges Event Center at the Summit County Fairgrounds is an 11,600 sq ft building with a 5,398 sq ft hall that seats up to 500. It has an installed sound system and a 20 ft motorized screen, so bigger shows start from a real base.
Sundance held its final Park City festival in early 2026 and moves to Boulder, Colorado, in 2027. Planners who avoided January for years because of festival crowds should look at those dates again.
Many venues branded Park City sit in the Snyderville Basin, not inside city limits. Pendry Park City and Utah Olympic Park are examples, so confirm whether the city or the county handles your outdoor permit.

Yes. Past shows include The Lodge at Blue Sky in Wanship and private clubs around Kamas, and the Ledges Event Center in Coalville is the county's own event hall.
It depends on the address. Inside Park City limits the city's special events office handles it, with early deadlines. Venues in the Snyderville Basin or other unincorporated areas fall outside the city, so check with the county before you commit to a date.
