Wasatch County covers the Heber Valley and the Jordanelle side of Deer Valley. Heber City is the seat, and the county also includes Midway, Charleston, Daniel, Wallsburg and Hideout, set between the Jordanelle, Deer Creek and Strawberry reservoirs.

The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley opened in late 2024 in Deer Valley East Village, which is in Wasatch County even though the mailing address says Park City. Its 10,057 sq ft Jordanelle Ballroom is the largest in the Park City area.
Zermatt Utah Resort in Midway has 65,000 sq ft of conference and event space, more than any other meeting venue in the county.
Soldier Hollow, the 2002 Olympic Nordic venue, and Wasatch Mountain State Park are both in Midway and rent lodges and clubhouses for events.
The Wasatch County Event Complex in Heber has a 48,000 sq ft indoor arena and three outdoor arenas, used for rodeos, the county fair, graduations and concerts.
The county seat, with the Event Complex arena, fair and rodeo season, and the closest private-jet airport to Park City.

Wasatch County. It uses a Park City mailing address, but Deer Valley East Village is on the Jordanelle side of the county line. Pendry Park City and Utah Olympic Park are also outside Park City limits, though those two are in Summit County's Snyderville Basin.
Heber City is about 43 miles from Salt Lake City, a 45 to 60 minute drive, and Midway is about 28 miles away.
