Heber City is the Wasatch County seat, about 43 miles southeast of Salt Lake City and a 45 to 60 minute drive. At 5,601 feet it sits lower and flatter than Park City, and its biggest events are rodeos, fair days, graduations and concerts at the county Event Complex.

The Wasatch County Event Complex has a 48,000 sq ft indoor arena with 4,650 stadium seats and 3,400 more on bleachers, plus three outdoor arenas. It hosts PRCA rodeos, Wasatch High graduation, expos and concerts. Nothing in an arena like this is show-ready without brought-in production.
Wasatch County Fair Days is the valley's biggest summer event. The 2026 run was July 23 to August 1 at the Event Complex. Book gear and crew for that window early.
Heber City Municipal Airport, Russ McDonald Field, takes large corporate jets and is the closest airport to Park City. Retreat groups often fly in here, which makes Heber a practical base for leadership events.
Heber averages about 75 inches of snow a year, mostly December through February, and has seen lows below -30 F. July highs average about 89 F. Summer shows need shade and power planning; winter shows need a snow plan.

Midway's Zermatt Resort has 65,000 sq ft of meeting space, and the Grand Hyatt Deer Valley has a 10,057 sq ft ballroom. Both are in Wasatch County and a short drive from Heber.
