Herriman went from 1,523 residents in 2000 to 55,144 in 2020, and its median age is 26.5. Events here are big, outdoor and family-heavy: Fort Herriman Towne Days, a pro rodeo that often sells out, and park concerts on the city's stages.

The city's largest event ran June 19 to 27 in 2026 across Butterfield Park and J. Lynn Crane Park. The final weekend put tribute bands and headliners on a large stage, followed by a drone show one night and fireworks the next.
The Fort Herriman PRCA Rodeo celebrated 20 years in 2026 with three nights of competition at the Butterfield Park arena, streamed on The Cowboy Channel's Cowboy+. It runs rain or shine, and when lightning hits, crowds shelter in cars or the Rosecrest Pavilion.
Herriman requires a special event permit on city property, for 100 or more people, or whenever there are stages, generators or amplified sound. The city lists company parties and picnics as examples, and events of 100+ must apply at least 90 days ahead.
Zions Bank Stadium seats 5,000 at the center of Real Salt Lake's 42-acre training campus and opened in 2018. It has hospitality spaces along the east side and a 166 kW solar array on the roof.
Herriman was settled in 1851 but only incorporated in 1999. In 2007 about 4,000 acres moved into Herriman from Bluffdale, which made room for the Rosecrest neighborhoods, and the Olympia annexation followed in 2022.

No. The community and conference rooms cannot be rented for commercial or revenue-generating purposes. They work for free meetings of up to 130 people.
