Downtown Provo keeps its event infrastructure within a few blocks. The Utah Valley Convention Center sits across the street from the Provo Marriott and Hyatt Place, with FrontRunner and the UVX bus rapid transit line serving the district. Most large Provo events land here.

Provo Airport, with commercial flights on Allegiant and Breeze, is 6 miles from the convention center. Salt Lake City International is 47 miles away, so out-of-state attendees have two options.
Outside AV is welcome at the convention center, but every rigging point goes through IATSE Local 99. Haze must be water-based, requested two weeks ahead and covered by a paid Fire Watch attendant, and pyro needs a licensed provider plus a Provo City Fire Department plan.
America's Freedom Festival builds for weeks to the Grand Parade and the Stadium of Fire at BYU's LaVell Edwards Stadium, which in 2026 featured Brad Paisley and a pyro, drone, flame and laser finale. The festival says almost 500,000 people attend its summer events, so expect street closures, full hotels and busy vendors.
Started in 2010 to draw people downtown, the free series outgrew its roof and moved to the street. After a six-year break it came back in 2026 at Nu Skin Plaza, 100 W Center St, on Friday nights from May to September.

Yes. The convention center allows outside AV. We coordinate rigging through IATSE Local 99 and order vendor power through the building, which bills it separately.
