Grantsville is a Tooele Valley town of about 12,600, settled in 1850, with the Stansbury Mountains to the west and the Oquirrhs and the Great Salt Lake to the east. It is also home to West Desert, the 511-acre motorsports campus formerly called Utah Motorsports Campus, and it sits next to Tooele County's arena and fair complex.

The former Miller Motorsports Park reopened on September 19, 2026 as West Desert under new Utah owner PV3 Enterprises, which says it has invested more than $50 million. The campus has a 4.5-mile road course, a karting track and four covered grandstands for more than 10,000.
The Clubhouse holds 570 across Legends Hall South and North, a third-floor room and a patio, with a commercial kitchen and bar. The Grand Prix building adds two viewing chalets for 433 each and a training room for 140 that splits into three.
Dust storms off the exposed Great Salt Lake bed typically happen several times a year. A July 8, 2026 storm pushed particle pollution to about four times the healthy limit. Outdoor rigs here need weather holds and covers for gear.
Grantsville first held its Old Folks Sociable in 1884. It now runs every March at Grantsville High School with a program, dinner and dance for residents 75 and older. The Fourth of July fills Main Street and Cherry Street Park, with fireworks at 10 p.m.

The track's own site lists 512 Sheep Lane, Grantsville. It reopened in September 2026 under a new name, West Desert, and new local ownership. Older listings may still say Tooele or Erda.
Yes. A concert or public entertainment event is a Level 4 special event. The application is due at least 90 days before the event, with a $150 fee plus any police, fire or public works costs.
Yes. We have worked with the track before. We can provide stage, sound and screens for a Clubhouse meeting, a product launch on the grid, or a hospitality night in the chalets, planned with the West Desert events team.
